Mother’s Monday is now powered by Path Forward

I founded Mother’s Monday in 2020 in an effort to bring attention to the increased pressure placed on working mothers and to help cultivate a community of leaders working together to reinvent motherhood and work.

Since then, Mother’s Monday has become a movement. One that redefines what it means to be a working mom. We are challenging stereotypes, sparking conversations, shifting workplace culture, and creating a better world for caregivers in the workforce.

One of the early supporters of Mother’s Monday was Path Forward, a national non-profit organization that empowers mothers and other caregivers to restart their careers following a break spent focused on caregiving.  Recognizing the alignment between Mother’s Monday and the Path Forward mission, I enthusiastically accepted a seat on their Board of Directors in 2020.

I’m thrilled to announce that starting this year (2022!), Path Forward will be partnering with Mother’s Monday in an even bigger capacity, powering this movement and taking on our mission as it continues to grow. As part of this partnership, we’ve launched our very first Mother’s Monday fundraising campaign, allowing us to have greater impact as more look to join our movement and collectively work towards constructing social and organizational change.

My hope is that as Mother’s Monday gains momentum, we will inspire a shift in both perceptions and workplace culture, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where working moms are seen, heard, and valued.

Stay tuned for more information about this year’s virtual Mother’s Monday event on Monday, May 9th. You can join our mailing list here to get all the latest news and updates, or make a tax-deductible donation to support our efforts.

Thank you for being a part of our movement. Let’s reinvent the future for caregivers in the workforce.
